The third day of "Liturgical Arts Week" the kids looked at unique instruments from members of the congregation and the new music store down the street. They also looked at a 2 octave handbells set and learned to ring a simple piece. The director for the week, Billy Fallaw, is the music leader at FUMC, and showed the kids the pipe organ in the sanctuary. He requested snack for the day go along with organ pipes, so I chose Pepperidge Farm's Pirouette Wafers and tied them into little bundles with a custom made tag. The idea is that each child got their own personal set of organ pipes.
