Farewell Dinner Parties.

As our time in North America draws to an end, we've been attending several farewell parties in our honor. I find saying goodbye's to be difficult, awkward, and never fun. But a party is a fun way to get groups of friends together and makes it a bit easier to say goodbye to many people at one time. The first farewell party we went to was a cookout and we feasted on hotdogs and hamburgers. This evening friends hosted a dinner party for us. We sat around the table eating and comparing stories about all of our travels abroad. I cherish these moments with the friendships we have here in South Carolina. And while a cookout or a dinner party is a lot of fun to attend, the relationships you've built with the other people attending the party are what I walk away remembering the most.
