Fondue.

Do you need a fun idea for a dinner party? Fondue. It can be as elaborate as you would like or as simple as you would like. We have been hosting fondue parties for almost a decade now, and it always goes over well with our guests. Typically, you could serve a cheese course, a broth course, and a chocolate course for your fondue party. Or you could just pick one from the three. This year for Valentine's Day, we served chocolate fondue.

When coming up with items to dip into your fondue, you can let your imagination get creative. Our Valentine's Day chocolate fondue consisted of a variety of fresh fruit. Strawberries, pineapple, grapes, apples, and bananas. We also included a platter of various cheesecake flavors and Pepperidge Farm Pirouette's. On other occasions, we have served marshmallows, an assortment of cookies, biscotti, fresh oranges, cherries... seriously, the sky is the limit.

  1. Love the idea of fresh fruit in a fondue. The contrast of flavors with the rich chocolate dipping sauce is so delicious! Great for a casual wedding social, too. :-)
