We threw an intimate baby shower for our dear friend who was pregnant with not just one baby, but two! Oh, baby baby! Twins are on the way. For our shower invitations, we immediately went to Etsy in search of the perfect invite that would capture the essence of our event. We purchased these cute invitations from {My Confetti Printables}. We loved that not only the invite was part of the package, but also two card inserts to encourage guests to bring books and diapers to the shower. A thank you card in the same design was included as well for the mother to be to use to thank all of the guests who gave gifts. Sound like a big package? It didn't stop there. There was also printables for envelopes as well. Just wanted to give My Confetti Printables a huge shout out for providing such a beautiful package. Be sure to check out their other designs as well.

Twilight Party - Sweets Table.
We set up and designed a small dessert table to go along with the Twilight dinner party. Checking out the Twilight books from our local public library, not only brings in theme of the party, but is such a cost effective way to decorate on a budget. A glass chess set coordinated with the cover of the Breaking Dawn book cover.
{Blood} Red velvet cupcakes, iced in two different designs contributed to the tone of the party. {Vampire} Brownie bites and chocolate pudding served in martini glasses were also featured.
Twilight Party - Place Settings.
We created a personal place setting for each party guest. Little picture frames with images from "Breaking Dawn: Part 1" and each guest's name. The girls enjoyed comparing pictures while they found their spot at the table. Each guest also received a party bag with vampire fangs that we had picked up from Target during the Halloween season.

Sweet Sixteen - The Dessert Station.
Look at that cute cake a friend of the host made for the birthday girl! We made custom zebra print cupcake wrappers and toppers. Again, we used zebra print bandana's on the tables. The fringe backdrops mimicked the zebra stripes. We didn't get a chance to get pictures of the tables with the food, but they also served "Zebra Cakes" by Little Debbie.
Sweet Sixteen - The Drink Station.
To coordinate with the cookout menu that the celebrant had requested, we served drinks out of mason jars tied with zebra print bandana fabric. We made custom tags for the drinking straws, and water bottle labels. Soda's were served out of two galvanized buckets.
Sweet Sixteen!
Today we designed a sweet sixteen birthday party for a girl who wanted zebra stripes and hot pink as her theme. One of her main requests was to incorporated pom-pom's into the decorations. I carried the stripes on the big monogrammed "J" we hung from the front door of the clubhouse and in the backdrops we used. Instead of purchasing yards of zebra print fabric, it was more economical to use zebra print bandana's that my client picked up at Hobby Lobby.
I think you can officially call me the branch lady. We used branches and spray painted them black and white, adding zebra print leaves to some of them. Branches are such a great economical centerpiece. Take them off of any tree, and you have free centerpieces that make a big statement. For vases, I used recycled beer bottles that I got from friends, and spray painted those as well. A strip of bandana fabric in the zebra stripe finished off the look.
