Every child loves a cupcake. Unless of course you have a specific food allergy, and for that child we provided something else. Day three for Liturgical Arts Week snacks we served cupcakes. I had my assistant run up to our local grocery store this morning to purchase cupcakes. We dressed them up with custom cupcake wrappers.
Styling a table is all in the details. It's easy to dress up prepackaged items from a grocery store with just a few personal touches. We hand crafted custom paper pinwheels to use as our cupcake toppers for the kids. Adding a small white button to the center of each pinwheel was our final personalized touch.
With all the sugar the kids were ingesting from the cupcakes, we figured water would be the perfect drink to balance their snack out. Mini bottles of water got custom labels using the same scrapbook paper we used to create the cupcake wrappers and pinwheels.
